Idle problem after engine startup.. Mini Cooper Forum High RPM When Idle? Easy Fix! Help. My Mini has developed a rough idle seemingly after the main pulley and belt was replaced. I've had the injectors checked, I've had the intake manifold cleaned and yet it persists. I have a 2016 countryman that idles pretty rough at times and occasionally stutters pretty hard but bump the gas and it seems to stop rattling and it drives no issues.
